The letter is undated, but postmarked Jan. 20, 1945.
Dear Folks,
I am well, happy, and safe and I hope you all are the same.
I received your cable yesterday and I was happy to hear from you. I am still in the hospital, but I don’t expect to be here much longer.
I never did receive a letter from Vince; is he still home? I mean is he still in the States?
Well, that’s about all I have for now, so I’ll sign off. Give my love & kisses to all, including Spring Street.
Babe
