Dated May 31, 1944; postmarked June 10, 1944.
Dear Folks,
I am well, happy and safe and I hope all are the same.
I wrote to Joe Acquista quite awhile ago, but I got my letter back saying it could not be delivered. I don’t know why it couldn’t be delivered, but I hope it’s a good reason.
I did receive your pictures and I probably told you about it already, but since you mentioned not receiving them again, I told you again. When you make sense out of that sentence, I’ll give you another to figure out.
That’s about all except that I’m glad you liked the bedspread.
Love & Kisses,
Babe
