The letter is undated; postmarked Feb. 3, 1945.
Dear Folks,
I am well, happy and safe and I hope you all are the same.
I sent the pen-and-pencil set and the Purple Heart on the way, so just about all I can do now is hope.
I received another package from you all, which contained spaghetti and I also received a couple of packages from Uncle Joe and Aunt Anna.
Herbert Miller wrote to me from England, denoting that they finally succeeded in getting him overseas.
Well, that’s about all for now. Give my love to Spring St.
Love & Kisses,
Babe
