The letter is undated; postmarked April 21, 1945.

Dear Folks,
I am well, happy, and safe and I hope you all are the same.
I haven’t received any packages from you recently, but I expect them any day now.
The reason I sent that other pen home is because I had dropped it and bent the nib. You know how it is, when you something is wrong with your car and you take it to the garage to have it fixed, it runs perfectly.
That’s all for now.
Love & Kisses,
Babe
